LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
That we do not have a fixed identity that is me,
What are you looking for at LU?
Good question, not entirely sure, i am a Buddhist a little stuck in my practice and a recent diagnosis of lukeimia has got me questioning deeper my existence and dimise more than usual, a recent conversation with someone involved with this process brought me here
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
Maybe a fresh perspective,a loosening up, a new way of looking at the world, inspiration, healing? To be honest I am not entirely sure, have spent a lifetime looking for meaning and the how I can be most useful in the world and still feel there is a long way to go in working this out.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Have been exploring methods of meaning since a big depression over 35 years ago, mainly involved in Buddhist practice through the ti Ratana Buddhist organisation, i also have a strong interest in shamanism and phychodelics,
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 10
