Re: Time to know

Hey Georgina, I must admit I have felt pretty resistant to this in trying to think about it the past couple of days. The short answer is no I can't just let go. I know that this is it but I feel pretty angry when trying to just be, which has surprised me somewhat. Its a problem with the language I k...

Re: Time to know

Hey Georgina, The more I look the more I see that l/me is only an idea in thoughts. Its not that 'me' is only a idea its that there is no me what so ever. There is 'me-ness' as an experience but that is something labeled as that as it passes through. As an exploration of this. Right now let go of bec...

Re: Time to know

Hey Georgina, Welcome to our little forum. My name is Philip I'm 61 and I'd be happy to take you through a few pointers. Just a little qualification about my approach in case there are any expectations (of course there are). I very rarely instruct or prescribe practice or process in this enquiry.......

Re: Not quite there yet

Hi John, Happy New Year ...as they say. I think that what needs to be clear is that this enquiry requires no getting it or understanding as you would normally view it...that is not required because what you are looking for is already the case and what is trying to understand is just life living as t...

Re: Not quite there yet

Hey John, Sorry I've taken so long to reply I've had some heavy work commitments. If I investigates there is definitely still a fair bit of seeking going on. Every day I will read or listen to some non-duality text, I suppose waiting for that one thing that will unlock the door. Yes waiting for some...

Re: Glimpsed it. Not yet living it.

Hey Kvist, Words are important they are all we have here in the forum.......happy for someone else to pick it up though, my approach is my approach. I think you are quite defensive which indicates that there is a sense of righteousness and all you are looking for is validation and confirmation of th...

Re: Glimpsed it. Not yet living it.

Hey Kviist, I understand what you are saying but do not live from that reality. I don't know how else to put this but you are living that reality......how could you live non-reality? How do I practically make the paradigm shift? Kvist....there is no paradigm shift!!! There is a concept used to attem...

Re: Glimpsed it. Not yet living it.

Hey Kvist, Yes I totally recognise where you are at... I fail at carrying these glimpses into daily life and probably into words as well. As for this particular moment I am writing after the fact as I am right now immersed in the daily drama and fall for all the tricks of the mind. Firstly there is ...

Re: Not quite there yet

Hey John, Where do you suggest we start this thing ? ................Its weird this question has got me stumped. (cricket term). Where do you start...do you need to start anything? And thats it! this is as it is. I find the biggest confusion people have in here is the seeing of the difference betwee...

Hey Kvist Welcome to our little forum. My name is Philip I'm 61 and I'd be happy to take you through a few pointers. I may not be "suitable" however, we'll see. Just a little qualification about my approach in case there are any expectations (of course there are). I very rarely instruct or prescribe...

Re: nonduality

Hey Rainbow, Nice to hear from you again.... And that the only identify/able.. knowable thing that can know itself is a thought/ belief/ or word itself ie: the attached meaning.. all of which are ACTUAL ''fictions'' I think labelling something a fiction or not a fiction can be a distraction. Everyth...

Re: nonduality

Hey Rainbow,

This forum is not really a place to just discuss non-dual ideas....its where fundamentals can be challenged. So where are 'you' at? When there is deep enquiry to the source of you... what do you see? Is there a rainbow at the end of the rainbow? Tell me something I don't know.

Re: No time like the present moment...

Hey Craig,

Yes being a forum all is visible. Anything that is highly 'personal' so to speak could be messaged to me directly via the private message board. If you are worried about this probably best to use a pseudonym.

Cheers

Philip
